Dinosaur Museum!

On 12/26 Doug took the day off and went to the Arizona Museum of Natural History with us. Zander and I have been there once before and he talks about it all the time. He could not wait for Doug to go with. We had a great time.

We ate at Genghis Grill before, Doug and I love that place. Zander did really well this time. He ate stir fry - including cooked veggies! And chicken, tofu and noodles. He loves to eat with chopsticks like his Daddy.

We always line up in order in the hallway except this year we kids didn't have to! Just the grand kids. And my Dad. :-)


Yes, Zander asked for a Raggedy Ann doll. I have no idea why but he was set on getting one and asked Santa for one, twice. And he asked for Hot Wheels which he got a ton of. We have so many Hot Wheels now!

School, Fire Truck Ride, and getting Crafty

On the 21st we went to Zander's school for a Christmas party. He did some crafts and they had a book exchange. Zander was excited to receive a Tinkerbell book. (He didn't mind it was for a girl.)

Zander made some Christmas cards and pins for his teachers.


Then we went to my work and got a fire truck ride on the track!


Then we went to the dentist for the first time for x-rays and a consultation. We went back on 12/31 for the cleaning.

After the dentist we headed to Desert Ridge Marketplace to go to "As You Wish". I really wanted to get a plate made with Zander's hand and foot prints. It turned out so cute!


He said the paint tickled his feet.

The girl that helped us was awesome.

Zander cannot wait to go back and actually paint something at As You Wish.

Castles & Coasters 2008

We go to the PFD Christmas party at Castles & Coasters every year.

Fire Truck Rides!

We try to do this every year. Phoenix Fire has a special event at the Target by our house. You donate a new toy and you get a fire truck ride.

For my mom's birthday we go decorate their Christmas tree. The grandkids are more into it than the kids :-)

Zander's Holiday Music Program at Preschool

Zander's school had a wonderful Holiday Music Program. He was dressed as a reindeer. His class sang "Blitzen Boogie" and one other song. Both the pre-k classes sang "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" They actually signed along with singing. It was very cute.

Instead of posting those pictures I actually managed to get a few scrapped. My camera was not cooperating so these are the best I have.



There is adorable video I planned on getting on line, I just haven't had time. :-)

Family Night

It was recruit Family Night at my work so Doug & Zander came down to see the show. Zander loved the BBQ (the kid loves hamburgers!). Then we watched the live burns.
