Preschool!

Zander started preschool on Tuesday, tomorrow is his second day.



He's only going 8 to 12 right now, I picked him up on Tuesday and my sister will be picking him up for me for the next few weeks. Then we'll transition him to T & Th full days. He's a reluctant napper and they have to do nap time, or at least quiet time.

Anyway, there were no tears. He seemed to enjoy it and can't tell me too much what they did although he had a journaling project his teacher showed me. He didn't have any accidents, so that was great! I was so relieved.

Itty Bitty Golf

Zander participated in "Itty Bitty Golf" put on by the City of Phoenix.

Snow day

We went up to Flagstaff to play in the snow with Meme, Poppa, Melissa, Mickey and Jacey.

One of the best presents ever!

Colby got this drawing for Zander. She met one of the artists for Diego and Dora at a bar in LA. He sat and drew this while she watched! So cool, I just love it!

Happy Birthday to our little buddy Chase, he's 2!

Christmas morning!

We have Christmas in phases because we have so many people to visit. Christmas Eve was Phase I - we went to Mamaw's house, then we went to Colby's parents house for a gathering. My parents and Melissa and her family came too!

Christmas morning is Phase II - opening presents at our house!
Zander actually forgot what day it was when he woke up. He didn't think about Santa or presents at all. We told him though.

The next phase of Christmas is Phase III at Doug's parents house for breakfast with Nongi, Pappy and Maw & Paw. Then we went to Meme & Poppa's for Phase IV. Pics to come............

Making cookies for Santa!

Oh Christmas Tree!

We're always late at getting things done for the holidays, and that's ok with us. We get our tree at the last minute - 10 pm December 23rd!

Breakfast with Santa @ Rainforest Cafe

Zander LOVES Rainforest Cafe sooooo much. The problem is the food isn't very good, haha - but he's all about the atmosphere! So I thought the Breakfast with Santa on Saturday would be a good treat for Zander.

Train Park night

Last Sunday we went to see the Christmas lights at the Train Park in Scottsdale.

















Afterwards we ate at Mama & Dada's favorite pizza: Grimaldi's!. Zander doesn't care for it that much but we get him a meatball calzone and he eats a little bit. He also likes to have ice cream at the Sugar Bowl across the street, so we had to go there. There we played a whole bunch of ski ball and air hockey. It was a fun night!
